Writing a meaningful and thoughtful message to include in a card no matter the occasion is never an easy task, and especially not when the recipient is your wife, girlfriend, or lover, and you are struggling with what to write in a Valentine’s card for her. Beautiful and unique cards can easily be purchased from card retailers, such as these Valentine cards for her from Boomf. But you need an equally as special message to go with the card. The message that you include in a card is where you can put your thoughts into words, and as hard as this may be, this article will provide you with some tips and points to achieve this!

    How To Structure Your Message

The first step to sorting out what to write in Valentine cards for her is to determine how to structure the message that you will include in your card. All card messages, no matter the occasion, usually follow a generic structure which goes as follows:

    • The ‘Dear (insert name of recipient),’ line where you can state who the card is for.
    • The main message part where you usually say something cheesy relating to the occasion, such as saying ‘thanks for being the best partner in the world’ if you are writing a Valentine’s card…
    • The ‘happy (insert occasion here)’ line which is usually just a simple reference to the occasion being celebrated.
    • And then finally, the footer of the message where you address who it is from (that’s you!!).

So, to write Valentine cards for her, you can follow this generic card-writing structure, obviously amending it to match the occasion.

Now, it should be fairly straightforward to decide what to include in each of the structure sections outlined above – except for the main message part. This is the most important part of the message, as it is where you can add a touching or meaningful message for your recipient. Whether the person that you are delivering a Valentine’s card to is your wife, girlfriend, or lover, the following are some fun things that you can include in the main message section.

    Express Gratitude

The most obvious and easiest thing to include will be an expression of gratitude for the recipient. You can add a thoughtful and meaningful message by letting them know how grateful you are to have her in your life. Furthermore, you can also reference the qualities in her that you really love and admire. Essentially, you want to tell the recipient why you are giving her a card this Valentine’s Day.

    Jokes

Jokes are always great things to include in cards, as not only can they be great ways to celebrate an occasion, but they can also put a smile on her and bring her some joy on their special day. When writing Valentine cards for her, you can come up with a joke of your choosing – and it can even be slightly inappropriate and raunchy – in the message.

    Poems

Want to channel your inner Romeo? You could add a touch of cheesy romance to the message by including a classic love poem for your lover. Here’s a basic example for you to build upon:

Roses are red, violets are blue. I thought I would never find something I love more than my Nintendo Switch, until I met you!

So, if you are planning on wishing your girlfriend, wife, or lover a happy Valentine’s Day, but you have been struggling with putting your love into words, then we hope this guide will be useful. Using the tips provided, you can easily come up with something to include in Valentine cards for her.
