Roller coasters are some of the most terrifying rides in the world. What makes them so different from their cousins, the ordinary roller coaster? The answer is that, unlike other rides, a roller coaster has its origin in fear. Most people who have ridden a roller coaster do not remember it occurring. They have been through it and they forget how it makes them feel. The adrenaline rush from riding a roller coaster is very short-lived. Once you get off, your blood pressure will go back to normal, but your heart rate will continue to race for quite a while after that. And no amount of alcoholic chasers will make you feel any better about what just happened on that ride. When you hear the word “roller” coaster, your first thought isn’t normally “tyrant grandma.” More likely than not, you think of something that’ll leave you cowering in your seat, wondering how on earth you got there.

How To Get Over Fear Of Roller Coasters

    1. Ride a roller coaster

There’s nothing worse than being afraid of something that you’ve never experienced. So, if you’re afraid of roller coasters, do the only thing you can do to overcome your fear: ride one. You’ll learn that it’s not nearly as bad as you thought it was going to be and after a while, you’ll stop thinking of it as something that scares you.

    2. Try new things

If there’s one thing we should all be doing more of, it’s trying new things! For example, if roller coasters scare you, then try taking a trip on an aerial tram or zip line instead. Take up skydiving if your biggest fear is heights or try scuba diving instead of swimming with sharks (if sharks are your biggest fear). If roller coasters still make you cower in terror then try riding them on the other side of the track where passengers aren’t strapped in for dear life and are able to move around in a limited amount of space (this is actually how most people ride them). And if all else fails then try taking one with no restraints at all! The worst they can do is throw you off so at least they don’t have the option to freak out behind closed doors.

    3. Don’t think about them too much!

If there’s one thing that will change your perception on something quickly, it’s thinking about it too much! If the thought of roller coasters makes your heart beat faster, then just don’t think about them. Think about something else instead. Don’t think about roller coasters at all if you want to get over them! If you need help thinking of something else, try thinking about how awesome it was when you were on the roller coaster or how cool it would be if you got to ride one again someday.

    4. Get over being afraid of roller coasters!

    5. Take a break from your fears for a few days and then see what happens!

This may sound counter-intuitive but sometimes taking a break from our fears can actually help us overcome them more easily than we’d expect! If your fear is that roller coasters scare the crap out of you, then forcing yourself to not think about them for a few days might make things worse than they already are so let yourself have some peace and quiet time while they’re not in your head and see what happens after those few days pass by (or if you can’t wait that long to get over your fear, try taking a break from them for a few hours or days at a time until you feel like you’re getting closer to overcoming it).

What You Need To Know Before Going On A Roller Coaster

    Conclusion

Racing is a fun pastime, but it can get very dangerous. While there are many risks that come with winning the races, there is also a lot of danger when you don’t try your best. That is why it is important to be safe while racing and not try to go too fast for fear of getting hurt. But don’t stress, there are a lot of ways to get over the fear of roller coasters.
