A local vendor will sell coffee and pastries, and the Junior Woman’s Club will give away cookies and hot chocolate. Santa is also scheduled to make an appearance.
The Capitol will be open to visitors starting at 6:30 p.m.
Donations are being taken at the State Capitol Rotunda from Dec. 12-15 for North Carolina’s Rural Shelters. Accepted donations include food, blankets, towels, toys and treats.
