Right now I am in the process of ending an abusive marriage. Unfortunately, the one with the most money to spend on lawyers is the one that will win. In my case, it is the abuser who will win and no attorney or judge in this state seems to care at all. It may be good that he will win, because then maybe he won’t take drastic action, but the next wife may not be so lucky.
