Boston-based Girls Guns and Glory have a great country sound with lead vocals that sound as if they are being sung by Chris Isaak. This is likely the last thing you would expect out of the Boston area, but they are legit and very, very, very good. This show is a must see - if you are not a blues fan - or if you saw Eric at Jazzfest last month. (Photo Courtesy of Band)

In perhaps the most intriguing show of the week, Boykiller takes the stage Saturday night at The Berkeley Cafe. Comprised of three female vocalists from different bands, they come together for some interesting songs with unique instrumentation to back it up. All three are excellent entertainers and while the music is solid, it is done in a lighter way so that you can lighten up, laugh, and enjoy the show. (Photo Courtesy of Band)
